The open world element is fun for a while too, but it lacks the variety needed to make it enjoyable to roam around in for any great length of time. If you ever find yourself stuck on a particular level, you can opt to adjust the game's difficulty from one to seven as you want to make things a bit easier for you. There are also six weapons to swap between as you engage different enemy types and bosses throughout the game. Various power-ups will drop that provide bonuses like increased damage or better ship defense.
There's the Waves Mode which basically offers survival gameplay, and the Challenges Mode, wherein you need to complete tasks with specific conditions set. The app comes with two game modes to choose from.
JoyJoy is a classic title that dates back to 2010, but has since received various modern updates and refinements, and is now available to enjoy on mobile. They don't have much of a story and instead focus all their attention on nonstop, fast-paced action. Twin-stick shooters are a subgenre of arcade games and are the way to go if you want a good challenge and mindless fun.
